Parent and Child Tournament

The tournament was played on the afternoon of Saturday 10 July was won by Rebecca and Ian Illingworth.

At the end of the rounds there were 2 clear favourites - Becky and Ian and Freddie and Chris Vahey. These two couples played a short set final and were neck and neck all the way to 4 games all, with the Illingworths managing to clinch the next two games to win 6 - 4.

Freddie and Chris were also in the final last year - maybe next year it will be third time lucky! The tournament was played in good spirit on a very warm afternoon and respective parents and children were all still on good terms at the end!
