Annual Presentation Dinner 2009

The Presentation Dinner was held later than usual this year, on Friday 15 January, following a re-arrangement of the venue to the Pike Hills Golf Club. The evening was well attended with almost fifty members present.

Following a most enjoyable dinner, the trophies were awarded to the successful league and tournament winners. Members of the Mixed 2nd and 3rd teams, and Ladies 2nd team picked up plaques. Those present to receive tournament trophies were: Harlequin - Emma Almgill, Spring Cup - Chris Hanby, Ladies Doubles - Emma & Marilyn Almgill, Non-League - Geoff Steel, Dennis Hudson - Chris Hanby and Gary Payne. The presentations were followed by a disco in the ballroom, complete with very loud music and lots of flashing lights. As an aside, can you identify the John Travolta look-a-like in the photo below?
