Welcome to Appleton Roebuck Tennis Club

We are a friendly club with an active membership from Appleton Roebuck and the surrounding villages. New members are always welcome. For more information see About Us or for general enquiries email - email address. Adult club nights are held from the beginning of April until the end of September on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm (6pm early season) until the light fails. Club Days are held on Wednesdays and Sundays from 1.00pm.

Court Availability Notices

Details of times when the courts will be used for matches or training sessions other than those listed on the membership card:
- Saturdays 1pm - 5pm, Adult coaching followed by Junior coaching
- Tuesday 23 April 1pm - 4pm, Court cleaning
- Tuesday 17 September 9am - 12 noon, Court cleaning

IT Sports Mixed League

The league has a new website that can be found at http://www.yorkmixedtennisleague.org .

Club Nights 2013

These will resume on Mondays and Thursdays from 1 April at 6pm and Fridays from 5pm for Juniors. So have a root around in the back of your cupboard, dust off your racquet and head for the courts! We'll see you there. Don't forget that the Wednesday and Sunday sessions will still run at 1pm.

Court Maintenance - Advance Notice

Replay, our maintenance company, will be visiting the courts on Tuesday 23 April 1pm - 4pm and on Tuesday 17 September 9am - 12 noon. The courts will be unavailable whilst this work is being done.

Indoor Tournament

The second running of the Indoor tournament proved to be as big a success as last year. All competitors thoroughly enjoyed the tennis and the meal afterwards was to a very high standard. There was however a decided lack of men, so thank you to Chris Howat and Pauline Belt for agreeing to switch gender for the day. Which, as you can see, resulted in the first ever all lady final to a mixed tournament!
After a very closely fought 15 minutes, Amber and Pauline emerged as our tournament winners. Well done to them and to all who played. More photos in gallery.
