Junior Tennis Coaching 2010

Walking the dog – making pizzas – oh no, not scrambled eggs again! How do you get out of prison? These are just some of the fun elements of the professional coaching enjoyed by our younger juniors on Sunday afternoons.
Our older juniors also have their favourite games such as “Round the World” and “Champions”.

The coaching will resume for the summer term on Sunday 25 April as follows:
Primary school age group:	Reception – Yr 3:	3pm – 4pm
	Yrs 4 – 6:	4pm – 5pm
Secondary school age group:	Yrs 7 – 11:	5pm – 6pm

Friday night is Juniors’ night!
We will run supervised sessions commencing Friday 23 April from 5pm to 7.30pm as follows:
Secondary school age group:	Yrs 7 – 11:	5pm – 6pm
Primary school age group:	Reception – Yr 3	6pm – 6.45pm
	Yrs 4 – 6:	6.45pm – 7.30pm

Would all juniors please note that appropriate tennis clothing must be worn at all times on court – no jeans!
Footwear should be trainers with non-marking soles.

York Junior Team Tennis

We will be entering a team in the U14 boys’ league again this year. Home matches will be played on Mondays after school. Away matches are played on days specified by the host team. It is vital for parents to help with transport to matches where possible, and any offers of help are much appreciated.

2009 winners were Suzanne and Jamie Webb after a really friendly and fun afternoon. So come on, all you Mums and Dads, get ready to dust off those racquets!

Juniors’ (and Parents!) BBQ Sunday 18 July
The BBQ takes place on the last Sunday afternoon’s coaching session - rounding off the term nicely before the summer break.

Junior coaching will resume again for the Autumn term in September.
